John Gary Luboja
Mr. Luboja specializes in the representation of corporate manufacturing companies in products liability, insurance coverage, casualty and commercial litigation matters. He also advises clients on issues involving crisis management, quality control programs at manufacturing plants, voluntary and government-controlled product recalls, and compliance with state and federal agency requirements, including matters involving disputes with the FDA, CPSC, OSHA and various state health departments. Mr. Luboja currently acts as national or regional litigation counsel for several “Fortune 500” corporations in the products liability and general liability areas.
A frequent lecturer, Mr. Luboja has addressed corporate counsel groups and in-house insurance staffs on many topics regarding product liability prevention, crisis management, document retention programs, negotiation tactics, general litigation management, and insurance coverage issues. He has served as a member of the Product Liability Council (Steering Committee), the Product Liability Alliance Council, and the Defense Research Institute. He is also a member and past Chairman (from 1988-1992) of the Litigation and Insurance Committee of The Corporate Bar (formerly WESFACCA.) Mr. Luboja also has been accepted as a member of the Association of Defense Trial Lawyers.
Mr. Luboja is a 1979 graduate of Fordham University School of Law, and was a contributing author to its Urban Law Journal. He is admitted to practice in New York, and the United States District Courts for the Southern, Eastern and Northern Districts of New York.
